Urban Dynamics

...It was originally called Industrial Dynamics (ID) because it was conceived to study the nature of companies as they change over time, and because of its various characteristics, it attracted considerable attention at the time. Forrester applied this method to various systems, and published Urban Dynamics (1969, UD), which dealt with urban problems, and World Dynamics (1971), which treated the world as a single system.
