A lagoon in the northeast of Higashikagawa City, eastern Kagawa Prefecture. Its area is about 27 hectares. In 1927 (Showa 2), Noami Wasaburo (Noami Wasaburo) farmed yellowtail for the first time in Japan (in Hikita Town, Okawa County at the time). Yellowtail farming flourished after that, but around 1970 (Showa 45), it was damaged by red tides several times and farming was discontinued. It is now a fishing spot.
