Azuma Mogura (English name) Japanese mole

An animal of the mammalian class, insectivora, family Talidae. Its head and body length is about 15 centimeters. It is endemic to Japan and is found throughout central and northern Honshu, but is also found in isolated habitats in the mountainous regions of Shikoku, Chugoku, and Kinki.
