…　ドイツではすでに1860年ごろからF.ラサールの労働協会で，労働者の教養や娯楽のための演劇が考えられ，19世紀末には〈労働者劇〉の作家も出ているが，それらは第1次大戦後にはドイツ共産党系のプロレタリア演劇運動に吸収されていった。アジプロ演劇とは，そもそもは共産党直属の〈アジプロ隊Agitprop Truppe〉などにより行われたもので，その名の通り煽動(アジテーション)と宣伝(プロパガンダ)の演劇というのが原義である。1919年以来，いわゆる〈移動演劇〉の形で労働者街に進出して，シュプレヒコールや寸劇などによって，労働者観客の間に受け入れられ，一つの政治･文化運動となっていた。…
