Akinomiya Onsen Town

A group of hot springs in Akinomiya, Yuzawa City, southern Akita Prefecture. Also written as Akinomiya Onsenkyo. It consists of hot springs such as Yunotai, Inazumi, Takanoyu, and Yunomata in the Yakunai River basin, a tributary of the Omono River. The spring temperature is around 70°C, and the total amount of water is 1000-1200 liters per minute. Located within Kurikoma Quasi-National Park, it was designated as a nature resort village (Ogatsu Nature Resort Village) by the government in 1976 (Showa 51). There is a bus service from Yokobori Station on the JR Ou Main Line. Akinomiya Ski Resort is nearby.

秋田県南部、湯沢市秋ノ宮にある温泉群。秋の宮温泉郷とも記す。雄物(おもの)川の支流役内(やくない)川流域にある湯ノ岱(ゆのたい)、稲住(いなずみ)、鷹(たか)ノ湯、湯ノ又などの温泉からなる。泉温70℃前後、湯量は全体で毎分1000～1200リットル。栗駒(くりこま)国定公園内にあり、1976年（昭和51）国から自然休養村（雄勝自然休養村）に指定された。JR奥羽本線横堀駅からバス便がある。近くに秋ノ宮スキー場がある。
