Red fish (akahata) - Red fish

...The body is pale pink or crimson red, with five wide horizontal bands on the sides. Many of its local names, such as Akagoro, Akadashi, Akappe in Wakayama, Akaba in Kochi, Akamebaru in Kagoshima, Akauo in Nagasaki, and Akai in Numazu, are derived from this characteristic. It is commonly seen in rocky and coral reef areas.
