Aonohara

[1] A plain in the west of Ogaki City, Gifu Prefecture. It has been a frequent battlefield since ancient times. *Taiheiki (late 14th century) verse 19: "Musashi, leading over 10,000 troops from Ueno , marched out to Aonogahara ." [2] A plateau at the eastern end of the Kasai Plateau, in the center of the Banshu Plain in Hyogo Prefecture. It was developed in earnest by the Edo Shogunate in 1723. [一] 岐阜県大垣市西方の野原。古来しばしば戦場となった。※太平記（１４Ｃ後）一九「武蔵、上野の勢一万余騎を率(そっ)して、青野原(アヲノガハラ)に打出たり」[二] 兵庫県、播州平野の中央部、加西台地の東端にある台地。享保八年（一七二三）江戸幕府により本格的に開発される。明治二四年（一八九一）に陸軍の演習地ができた。
