…There are two sutras that explain Vajrayana only, the Kongochi translation and the Amoghavajra translation, the former of which describes a yellow-bodied, two-armed statue, and the latter of which describes a blue-bodied, six-armed statue. These are also called Yellow and Blue, and it is said that Yellow is used mainly in Taimitsu and Blue is used mainly in Eastern Mitaka. The two-armed statue has its left hand, holding a sannyas (sanko), raised high, and its right hand stretched out and lowered in the fearlessness mudra. …
