...After working as a teacher at Tsurutani Gakuin in Saiki, he joined the Kokumin Shimbun in 1894. As a war correspondent during the Sino-Japanese War, he serialized the column "Aidei Tsuushin." After returning home, he met Nobuko Sasashiro, and after a passionate love affair, they married.
