On the other hand, critical terms such as "workaholic" and "job holocaust" were used to refer to the excessively diligent work attitude. However, what is noteworthy is that regardless of the difference in the perspective from which this abnormality in work ethic was understood, by the 1970s the question of how to "humanize work" and "improve the quality of life" came to be regarded as a common policy issue in developed countries.
