Volksmusik

...The term folk song (Volkslied or Volksgesang in German, folksong in English) originally referred to songs, but it was also used to refer to musical instruments and dances. However, in this article, we will limit folk song to vocal music, and in order to include instrumental folk songs, we will use the term Volksmusik (German) or folk music.
