Tughluq Timur (English spelling)

In this situation, conservative Mongolians who opposed the settlement and Islamization of the royal family established another khan based in the Tianshan region in the 1940s and became independent. As a result, the khanate was divided into eastern and western, with the Pamirs as the border. These two khanates were reunited in 60-61 by Tughluq Timur, the great ruler of the Eastern Khanate (Moghulistan Khanate), but they were divided again after his death, and the Western Khanate (Western Chagatai Khanate) was essentially destroyed by Timur in 70. However, the Eastern Khanate maintained their traditional nomadic lifestyle based in the Tianshan region until the end of the 15th century, but in the 16th century, they could not remain in the Tianshan region and migrated to the oasis region of East Turkestan, rapidly losing their Mongolian traditions.
