Torpido tokionis

...The Japanese name comes from the fact that it has an electric organ, and the English name is also electric ray. There are five species in the waters off Japan: Narke japonica (illustration), N. dipterygia , Crassinarke dormitor , Torpido tokionis , and T. californica . Of these, the Narke is the most commonly seen species, found in shallow waters south of central Japan.
