Lasioglossum duplex (English spelling)

...The nest consists of a 15-30cm vertical main pit, horizontal pits branching out from it, and a brood chamber at the top. The social bee Lasioglossum duplex builds 5-7 brood chambers by itself in spring. When the daughter bees are born in summer, the mother bee expands the nest to raise the offspring.
