Little gastrin

…It was discovered in 1905 by J.S.Edkins of England, and in 1964 its structural formula was determined by R.A.Gregory and H.J.Tracy of the United States as a polypeptide consisting of 17 amino acids. It was later discovered that the majority of gastrinos in the blood consist of 34 amino acids, and the 17-amino acid form is called little gastrin, and the 34-amino acid form is called big gastrin. In both cases, the active center is a four-amino acid bond at the C-terminus. …
