The First Liberation Army was formed, led by three men: Prokopii Lyapnov, the Ryazan military commander; Dmitrii Trubetskoi, who had been granted the title of noble by False Dmitry II; and Ivan Zarutskii, the Cossack leader. However, conflict arose between the nobles and the Cossacks within the army, and Lyapnov was killed in July 1911, and the army was disbanded before the capture of Moscow. ...
