...Their bodies are gray-brown, reddish-brown, olive, etc., and all are native to Africa. There are 13 species in 6 genera, including the very small, almost rabbit-sized royal antelope Neotragus pygmaeus , the musk antelope ( N. moschatus ) with its extremely strong musky odor from its subocular gland, the Kirk's dik-dik Madoqua kirkii , which lives in the bush and feeds mainly on leaves, the Klipspringer Oreotragus oreotragus , which lives on rocky areas and can jump up to 6 meters, the Oribi Ourebia ourebi , which shows a strong attachment to its territory, the Steinbock Raphicerus campestris , which is said to mark various points in its home range with feces, and the Beira Dorcatragus megalotis , which lives on rough rocky mountains and is said to be found in only one herd on one hill. Of the antelopes, only the rest, excluding about 15 species of gazelles that live in the desert and are particularly beautiful, are sometimes called antelopes.
