Mitanni

...The Hurrians, who gradually migrated south from the southern Caucasus and Armenia throughout the 3rd millennium BCE, began to live over a wide area in northern Mesopotamia and Syria in the 2nd millennium BCE, establishing several small kingdoms. They were then unified under the control of Indo-Aryan tribes who had migrated from the north and east, and came to have great political and military power as the Kingdom of Mitanni. Although the migrating Indo-Aryan tribes were few in number, they probably subjugated the overwhelming majority of the Hurrians due to their superior military power.
