Naiyayika (English spelling)

...An influential school of Indian philosophy that focuses on the pursuit of logic and argument (nyāya). In Sanskrit it is called Naiyāyika. The pursuit of logic has been going on since several centuries before Christ, but the Nyāya school positioned it as an orthodox Brahmanical discipline and systematized it.
