Greenhouses are plants that are grown in glasshouses or similar facilities (buildings with roof coverings such as vinyl or synthetic resin panels) to ensure that growth is not hindered during the cold winter months, and are primarily grown unheated or heated (heated) conditions. Many of these plants are ornamental plants that do not flower until spring under natural climate conditions, but are grown in greenhouses for the purpose of making them bloom from the coldest period through to early spring for hobby or economic reasons such as production.
