〘Noun〙 In early modern Japanese music, one of the classifications of music for the convenience of teaching. ⇔Ura-gumi. ① One of the shamisen group songs. Composed by Ishimura Kengyo. There are Ryukyu group, Hida group, etc. Honte-gumi. ② One of the koto group songs. Established by Yatsuhashi Kengyo based on ①. It is a set of seven pieces, " Fuki, " "Ume-ga-e," "Kokoro-zukushi," "Tenka Taihei," "Usuyuki," " Yuki no Ashita ," and "Kumo no Ue," with danmono such as "Rokudan" and new pieces. However, the arrangement varies slightly depending on the school.

〘名〙近世の邦楽で、教習上の都合により楽曲を分類したものの一つ。⇔裏組。① 三味線組歌の一つ。石村検校作曲。琉球組、飛騨組などがある。本手組。② 箏組歌の一つ。八橋検校が①にならって制定。「菜蕗(ふき)」「梅ケ枝」「心尽」「天下泰平」「薄雪」「雪晨(ゆきのあした)」「雲の上」の七曲に「六段」のような段物や新曲がついたもの。ただし、流派によって多少その配列が異なる。
