The leaves are alternate, 20-30 cm long, 3-6 cm wide, slightly glossy on the surface, and have fine hairs on the underside. They usually grow in clusters in the middle of the stem. However, in non-flowering individuals, the leaves are not clustered, and are somewhat alternate in two rows, similar to ginger. ...
