praectus praetoris (English spelling) praectuspraetoris

Japanese: praectus praetoris(英語表記)praectuspraetoris
praectus praetoris (English spelling) praectuspraetoris

...An ancient state that arose as a city-state on the banks of the Tiber River in the central part of the Italian peninsula, in what is now Italy, and later built the greatest empire in world history.
[Position in world history]
Among the many nations and empires that have appeared in history, Rome occupies a special place in world history. As symbolically expressed by two proverbs about Rome, "Rome wasn't built in a day" and "All roads lead to Rome," Rome was able to build a great empire over a period of time rarely seen in world history, and to maintain and develop it for an equally unparalleled long period of time. Rome's place in world history is also clearly illustrated by the fact that Rome absorbed advanced civilizations that existed before it and passed them on to the world of the next generation, as seen in the Roman public roads that radiated from Rome to all parts of the empire and carried people and goods from the periphery to Rome.
