The word "Zen" used in Japan is often the Buddhist term "Zen." It is a Chinese translation of the Sanskrit "Punya" or "Sukrita," both of which refer to "good deeds." Karman directly refers to external actions, but at the same time it also means the potential power, or substance, that these actions leave behind.
