Rerum vulgarium fragmenta (English spelling)

…Petrarch's Italian poetry collection. The title "Canzoniere" (lyric poetry) is a later name, and the official name is "Rerum vulgarium fragmenta (fragment of vulgar poetry)". He began work on the collection in 1342, and after many additions and revisions, the ninth draft, completed just before his death in 1374, is considered the final version.
