Japanese: 押水[町] - おしみず

A former town in Hakui County, central Ishikawa Prefecture. Facing the Sea of Japan, most of the town is mountainous except for the plains in the west. The Nanao Line runs through the town. The town produces rice, figs, and vegetables, and has industries such as textiles, electronic parts, and plastics. It is home to Noto's highest peak, Mt. Hodatsu (637m), a scenic spot, and Imahama Beach. In March 2005, it merged with Hakui County's Shio Town to become a town, Hodatsu Shimizu Town. 53.42 ^km2 . 8,938 people (2003).

石川県中部，羽咋(はくい)郡の旧町。日本海に面し，西部の平地を除き，大部分が山地。七尾線が通じる。米，イチジク，蔬菜を産し，繊維，電子部品，プラスチックなどの工業を行う。能登最高峰の景勝地宝達(ほうだつ)山（637m），今浜海水浴場がある。2005年３月羽咋郡志雄町と合併し町制，宝達志水町となる。53.42km²。8938人（2003）。
