Supraaural type

...Head-mounted headphones are called headphones, and are divided into closed and open types. Closed headphones are divided into circumaural types, which cover the area around the earlobe with earmuffs, and supraaural types, which are pressed against the earlobe, and are designed to minimize sound leakage. They also have a soundproofing effect against external noise, so they are used as monitors at recording sites, etc.
