A wetland that spreads across southeastern Georgia and northern Florida in the United States. It is 32 km wide, 65 km long, and covers an area of about 1,600 km2. It is a dish-shaped depression that consists of marshes and small islands called hammocks, and is a wildlife refuge. It is said that about 390 species of wild animals live there. The southern part of the wetland is the Suwannee Canal Recreation Area, where you can enjoy wildlife watching, canoeing, boating, fishing, hiking, and more.
