...The Jerusalem Talmud (also known as the Palestinian Talmud) was established at the end of the 4th century AD, and the Babylonian Talmud 100 years later. Both Talmuds are written in Hebrew and are the culmination of hundreds of years of discussions by Jewish legal scholars about the Mishnah, compiled by Patriarch Judah ha-Nasi around 200 AD.
