International Missionary Council

It was held in London (1880), New York (1900), and Edinburgh (1910), and at this conference a movement to form the International Missionary Council was born, which was realized in 1921. At the Jerusalem Conference in 1928, representatives of churches in Asia, Africa, and other areas that were to be missionized attended along with the Western churches that were the parent organizations of overseas missions, and they gained equal status as partners in missionary work. …
