hibakusha

...People who suffered physical damage especially from the atomic bombs dropped on Hiroshima on August 6, 1945, and on Nagasaki three days later on the 9th. Often abbreviated to "hibakusha," hibakusha has become an international term. There is a similar term, "atomic bomb victims," ​​but this refers to a broad range of victims, including not only the atomic bomb victims themselves, but also their surviving relatives (atomic bomb widows, atomic bomb orphans, atomic bomb elderly) whose spouses, parents, children, and other close relatives were killed by the atomic bomb.
