Glossopteridales

...Fossils of Sphenopteris, Pekopteris, Alessopteris, and Emplectopteris with leaves bearing seeds have been reported in China and Korea, but there are few Paleozoic plant habitats in Japan, and no leaves bearing seeds have been found. The Glossopteridales, a major plant of the Southern Hemisphere's Gondwana continent, are also seed ferns, and their leaves are grouped into two morphological genera, Glossopteris and Gangamopteris , but the reproductive organs are so diverse that they cannot be grouped into two genera. Glossopteris species have simple leaves with secondary veins that become fine veins and form a net pattern.
