Wang Nensun - Wang Nensun

Japanese:
Wang Nensun - Wang Nensun

A Chinese scholar in the mid-Qing dynasty. His pen name was Huaizu and his pen name was Shi Zan. He was from Gaoyou Prefecture, Jiangsu Province. His father, An Guo (1694-1757), who was the Minister of Personnel, invited Dai Zhen to their residence in the capital to study with 13-year-old Nian Sun, which laid the foundation for his lifelong academic endeavors. He was a Jinshi in 1775 (the 40th year of the Qianlong era). In addition to serving as the Inspector General of Shaanxi Province and other provinces, he also served in the Ministry of Works and the Censor General's Office, and in 1786, he was again assigned to the Yongding River Road, but was forced to retire due to the flooding of the Yongding River. Even after this, he devoted himself to writing at the residence of his son Yinzhi, who had become a high-ranking official, and passed away on January 24, 12th year of the reign of Daoguang, at the age of 89. The eight volumes of "Guangya Commentary and Records" elucidate the phenomenon of homophonic borrowing in ancient sounds through his theory of two parts of ancient rhymes, which impressed Duan Yu Cai. The 82nd volume of "Reading Journal" (1831) elucidates the meaning of each difficult-to-read passage in "Book of Yi Zhou" and "Strategies of the Warring States" up to "Wen Xuan", and compiles a great deal of material to arrive at an unshakable conclusion. This work shows the highest level of Qing Dynasty textual research. As for classic texts, there is "Classical Writings: A Collection of Classical Writings" by Yinzhi.
