...This theory is called the Fivefold Theory because it describes five types of distinctness. His philosophical position is called dualism (dvaita) because there is eternal and real distinctness between the two substances, namely Brahman and the individual. However, his dualism should be called distinctness or non-unimonism, and should be distinguished from the Samkhya dualism.
