...The term corrosion inhibitor also includes the inhibition of corrosion that does not involve rust, but the term also has a broader meaning, including environmental treatment chemicals used for the purpose of corrosion prevention. A typical rust inhibitor used temporarily for the transportation and storage of steel products is DICHAN (short for dicyclohexylammonium nitrite), and rust-preventive paper with this agent applied to the surface of the packaging paper is widely used. However, this rust-preventive paper is only effective on steel.
