Side branches radiate from the leaf axils, creeping, then ascending diagonally to a height of about 30 cm. The basal leaves are obovate with rounded tips, entire, and 10-20 cm long. The leaves on the side branches are small. The leaves are soft and somewhat thick, powdery white on the underside, and exude a white milky liquid when cut. From September to November, numerous yellow flower heads grow very densely at the ends of the side branches. …
