...It preys on lizards, small snakes, small birds, frogs, etc., and swallows them whole without wrapping it around its body. The coach whip snake M. flagellum , which is widely distributed in the southern United States, is the largest whip snake, with a total length of 1.5 to 2.5 meters. It is oviparous, laying about 8 to 12 eggs in the summer.
