…Cholelithiasis is classified into gallbladder stones, bile duct (extrahepatic bile duct) gallstones, and intrahepatic (intracerebrovascular) gallstones, depending on the location of the gallstones. Of these, gallbladder stones are the most common, and the term choleliac disease generally refers to gallbladder lithiasis.
