...A legend also arose that he would fall into a coma every 100 years and wake up as a young man of about 30 years old. In Germany, he is associated with a man named Buttadaeus, and is said to have been seen three times in Antwerp by the 16th century, with his last appearance in Brussels in 1774. In France, he is known as Laquedon or Lakedion.
