[Wild Goat]
There are three species of wild goat that are believed to be the origin of the domestic goat C. hircus : (1) Bezoar ( C. aegagrus ), also known as the wild goat, is found in parts of Asia, including the Caucasus and Afghanistan. It lives in mountainous regions, is slightly larger than domestic goats, and has large horns that curve backward in a bow shape.
