Ageuta - Ageuta
One of the names of musical components of Heikyoku or Noh utai. In Heikyoku, the lyrics of waka poems are sung gracefully and abundantly. It is also considered to be Kamiuta. Noh uta is one of the songs in which the 7-5 rhythm of the lyrics is set to a hiragana rhythm, and the content is often lyric or descriptive writing that expresses the feelings and emotions of the characters, and the roles that sing it include shite, tsure, waki, and jiutai. The number of lines in the lyrics is not fixed, but about 10 lines is the standard, and the first two and last two lines usually have the same line repeated.

平曲,あるいは能の謡などの楽曲構成部分の名称の一つ。平曲では,詞章の和歌を優美に,たっぷりと歌い上げるもの。〈かみうた〉という立場もある。能の上歌は,七五調の詞章を平ノリで節付けしたものの一つで,内容は登場人物の気持ちや感慨を述べる抒情文あるいは叙景文が多く,謡う役はシテ,ツレ,ワキ,地謡など各役にわたる。詞章の句数は一定していないが,10句程度が標準で,最初の2句と,最後の2句は同じ文句の繰返しがふつう。
