A travelogue of the Korean envoy Song Kikei (1376-1446). 1 volume. In 1420 (Oei 27), the year after the so-called Oei invasion, Kikei was appointed as an envoy for the 4th Shogun of the Muromachi Shogunate, Ashikaga Yoshimochi. Kikei left Seoul in January and arrived in Kyoto in April. He met Yoshimochi in June and presented him with a letter of sovereignty, and returned to Japan in October. This book is a collection of poems written during the trip, and contains his observations and insights on Japanese society, agriculture, customs, and religion in the mid-Muromachi period, as well as harsh criticisms. It is a valuable description of Japanese society at that time. Included in Zoku Gunsho Ruiju.
