Green Space Plants - Green Space Plants

Japanese: 緑地植物 - りょくちしょくぶつ

It is a general term that includes landscaping plants, plants that play an important role in the composition of the landscape in natural vegetation such as in natural parks, plants that are important for conservation management as targets of nature conservation, and plants used as materials for greening work to green bare land created by land development. Therefore, it is divided into garden plants, park plants, urban plants, plants for greening work, and landscape-building plants. In the case of green space plants, they break away from the limited space where they are planted like landscaping plants and are targeted at open spaces.

造園植物にさらに自然公園のような自然植生のなかで景観構成に重要な役割をもつ植物，または自然保護の対象となる保護管理上重要な植物，さらに国土開発に伴って生じた裸地を緑化復元する緑化工の材料として用いられる植物などが加わったものの総称である。したがってその内容は庭園植物，公園植物，都市植物，緑化工用植物，景観構成植物に分けられる。緑地植物の場合，造園植物のように植栽の場がある限定された場という枠から脱け出して，開かれた空間が対象となる。
