A rocky mountain located 440km (by road) southwest of Alice Springs, Northern Territory, Australia, it is a sacred site for the aboriginal people. It is the largest single rock in the world. It is a hill with a height of 335m (868m above sea level) and a circumference of 10km. It has been designated as a national park along with Mount Olga (1069m above sea level), a similar rocky mountain 30km to the west. The color changes with the movement of the sun. There is an air route and road leading from Alice Springs. The mountain's name comes from the name of the prime minister of the former colony of South Australia.
