Itakiso Shrine

Located in Itakiso, Wakayama City. Formerly a Kanpei-chusha (medium-sized shrine). It enshrines Itakeru, Oyazuhime, and Tsumatsuhime. It is considered a great shrine in the Engishiki. 和歌山市伊太祁曾に鎮座。旧官幣中社。五十猛(いたける)命・大屋津姫命・都麻津姫(つまつひめ)命をまつる。延喜式内の名神大社とされる。例祭10月15日。ほかに卯杖祭，茅の輪祭など。
