A hot spring located at the foot of Mt. Io, 16km southeast of the city, Kanazawa City, Ishikawa Prefecture. Gypsum-containing weak salt spring. 40℃. It is said to have been discovered by Taicho in the 8th century, and paid silver tax to the Kaga Domain during the Edo period. The base of Mt. Io Ski Resort.
