[1] [Noun] A gastropod shell of the family Acanthidae. It lives on sandy and muddy bottoms at depths of 20 to 100 meters south of the Boso Peninsula. It has a low spiral spire and is egg-shaped. The shell is about 8 centimeters high. The surface is yellowish-white with a row of brown square spots. The shell opening is large with a row of small folds on the inside.
