-A model of wage trends when a person employed by a company receives standard promotions and advancements under certain conditions.
-It is generally calculated based on educational background, age, occupation, and years of service.
・When there is a person who meets the modeled conditions under certain conditions, he or she is called a "standard candidate" and may be used as a benchmark.
In addition, various public institutions and private organizations also conduct wide-ranging wage surveys and calculate model wages by industry and company standard.

Japanese:

・企業に就職した人材が、一定の条件下において標準的に昇格・昇進をしていった場合の賃金推移をモデル化したもの。
・学歴、年齢、職種、勤続年数に応じて算出されるケースが一般的である。
・一定条件によってモデル化された条件に合致する人材がいる場合には「標準者」と呼ばれ、ベンチマークとして活用される場合もある。
・また、各公的機関や民間団体等も広く賃金の調査を行い産業別、企業規別のモデル賃金を算出している。
