One of the two schools of Hindu law in India. A school based on the Mitāksāra, a legal text by Vijñāneśvara, a minister to Vikramaditya VI of the Chalukya dynasty, whose capital was in Kalyana in the Deccan around 1120. This text is a commentary on the Yajnavalkya Code, and while based on the Dharmaśāstra, it examines commentaries from the 8th century onwards to establish a system of legal provisions and social norms suited to Deccan society. This book, considered an authoritative text, had a great influence on later legal texts, and many commentaries were written on it.

インドの2ヒンドゥー法学派の一つ。1120年ごろ，デカンのカルヤーナに都したチャールキヤ朝ビクラマーディティヤ6世の大臣であったビジュニャーネーシュバラVijñāneśvaraの法律書《ミタークシャラー》に基づく学派。この書は《ヤージュニャバルキヤ法典》の注釈書で，ダルマ･シャーストラに基づきながら，8世紀以後の諸注釈を検討して，デカンの社会に適合した法規定，社会規範の体系を樹立した。権威書とされたこの書は，後世の法律書に大きな影響を与え，いくつもの注釈書が著された。
