Year of death: 2 July 1652 (5 August 1652) Year of birth: Tensho 1 (1573) A kana zoshi author from the Edo period. His great-grandfather changed his surname to Masaki, but later changed it back to Miura. Commonly known as Katsubei. He was born in Odawara, Sagami Province, when his father Yoritada was a hostage of the Hojo clan. Later, his younger sister became Tokugawa Ieyasu's concubine, O-Man, and was summoned by Ieyasu because she gave birth to Tokugawa Yorinobu and Tokugawa Yorifusa, and in 1603 he was ordered to serve as Yorinobu's guardian. In 1619, when Yorinobu became the lord of Kii Domain, he went to Wakayama and became his chief elder retainer. He had a deep knowledge of waka, renga, haikai, and kyoka, and wrote kana zoshi such as "Ada Monogatari." He is also known for his interactions with Karasuma Mitsuhiro and Matsunaga Teitoku. 没年:承応1.7.2(1652.8.5) 生年:天正1(1573) 江戸時代の仮名草子作者。曾祖父の代に正木氏に改めたが,再び三浦氏と改める。通称勝兵衛。父頼忠が北条氏の人質であったとき,相模国小田原で生まれた。のちに妹が徳川家康の愛妾お万の方となり,徳川頼宣,徳川頼房を生んだ縁で家康に召し出され,慶長8(1603)年には頼宣の守役を命じられる。元和5(1619)年に頼宣が紀伊藩主となるのに従って和歌山に赴き,筆頭家老となった。和歌,連歌,俳諧,狂歌に造詣が深く,仮名草子『あだ物語』などを著した。烏丸光広 や松永貞徳などとの交流も知られている。 (樫澤葉子) 出典 朝日日本歴史人物事典:(株)朝日新聞出版朝日日本歴史人物事典について 情報 |
